Endometriosis Diagnosis and Treatment

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus (the endometrium) grows outside of the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and sometimes fertility problems. It can affect the ovaries, fallopian tubes, outer surface of the uterus, and other organs in the pelvic region.The exact cause of endometriosis is unknown, but factors such as genetics, immune system disorders, and retrograde menstruation are thought to contribute to its development.
